    Hi
You guys were very helpful in identifying my corncockle a few months back so here goes another .... I have about half a dozen of these springing up. Any idea what they are ? I mean the big leafed thing in the middle. Thanks

Looks like dock to me, dock seeds can be in the soil for 100's of year's then the groud is dug and right condisons up there come, or the seeds were with the wildflower as the wheat, don't think that one bit of wheat will last long

No leave in the birds will eat the seeds in late summer

and even better the Large and Small Copper Butterfly larvae will happily munch Dock

Not if you have any stinging nettles growing nearby

If you get stung by a nettle, rub the area with a dock leaf to take the sting away

Personally I'd be inclined to get rid of them in this context, I'm afraid.
