Get the shears out,it's Derby Day..

Weather permitting I'll be trimming my Buxus today,it might even resemble a small hedge after 4 years

 

Good God, didn`t realise it was Derby Day, gone are the days when my life was ruled by the Racing Calendar.

 

Must resist, must resist....

 

I asked for that

 

I thought i had a Buxus hedge, but i was triming it once every 3weeks then i found out it was not a Buxus

 

Bother, what did it turn out to be?

That looks more like a Box than a Honeysuckle, easy mistake to make

 

I'm easly pleased

 

Do you think better to cut when you have 4 days, or more, dry forecast? i.e. no chance of the equivalent of Smiths Periods (for spuds)
