Spruce, the Vikings show is mostly filmed in Wicklow, a stones throw from here :dbgrtmb: and the guy who supplies all the animals for it (goats, eagles, ravens ect) is my friend! he got a small part in it too, you know right at the beginning of the first episode when Ragnar sees or imagines he sees Odin in the distance collecting the spirits of the dead Vikings? well "Odin" was played by my friend too lol he got a tiny part but still pretty awesome

ive started watching Penny Dreadful with the family and so far (first two episodes) it looks really good, i may be hooked

btw i was absolutely mortified during the particularly filthy talk during the seance...just mortified beyond words! i was not only in company but in company of my own family! including my mammy! if the ground had opened up i would gladly have jumped in  :gaah:

I'm trying to keep quiet :) if you've read all the books you won't have any spoilers as the tv show seems to be quite far behind :(

It was great wasnt it , "mammy" face must of been a picture if anything like mine :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

another just about to finish is Da Vinci’s Demons , hard to keep up with them all.
Tend to record and watch when nothing else is on which is most days.

With putting "Vikings" on the history channel as put some off but they dont know what they are missing but even me a seasoned gore watcher it is over the top at times its slow as in pace and some of the scenes I can hardly see with it being so dark.

They have upped there game with the blockbuster series thats a fact...... and about time ...

Henry 8th with Jonathan Rhys Meyers & him in "Dracula" cant wait for the 2nd series on this as well

its good fun when you know someone and has a part my friend is in Casualty soon as a xtra

Am on book 4 and Women and Power seems to be a dominant theme at the moment - Asha, Cersei, that one in Dorne, Brienne etc etc. Also some people are getting better at the game of thrones - Sansa, for example- but some are getting worse - Cersei.

Somebody said they were downloading their ebooks for free - was it @Ellen? drop me a pm and tell me your secrets!
