I was woken up this morning by the crash of Thunder and flashes of Lightning as a Thunderstorm sauntered through the neighbourhood at around 4.30am:hate-shocked: The Cats have been taking turns watching in disgust at the torrential rain during the morning and then looking at me as though it's my fault.:cat-kittyandsmiley: This afternoon has dried out somewhat with just the occasional short shower and the temperature topped a high of 69f with lots of humidity..........more on the way.:coffee::snork:

A bit of rain at 9.30am which quickly cleared and nice gentle hazy sunshine all day. Now 28c on the patio,

A sudden absolute downpour, right after the first band at Middleton rocks. Thankfully I live a few yards from the village square ;)

Well, I trudged off, on Shank's pony for my appointment, armed with my 'casual' rain coat slung over my arm (although, it's actually quilted, so thick and heavy - but, all I had to hand) due to the sheeting rain I mentioned earlier. Be prepared, I thought! :paladin:

Spot the only numpty turnip with a heavy coat over arm and perspiring like I don't know what, not only *to* the appointment, but *from* a couple of hours later - in sweltering heat/humidity :phew::phew::phew: <----- that'll be *me* then

I scream :yikes: You scream :gaah: We *all* scream for: ICE CREAM!!!! :phew: :phew: :phew:

              'Ot, innit :rolleyespink:

It was gorgeous weather, then a cloud arrived just as the first band was playing... just after they finished the heavens opened!! Thankfully we live only a few yards away!! Then 10 minutes later, sunshine :)

Sunny and HOT! mostly, we have had some black / gray clouds come over, but no precipitation from them, 10 mins and they passed, then it was sunny and HOT! again. 36C in the shed, 28C on the decking, 22C in the shade, have had to come indoors to cool down..... :phew:

South facing back garden, well 3 degrees off due south to the west, Sun from 8am more or less until it goes west :heehee:, at this time of year. Suntrap City, thankfully the Cherry Tree provides some welcome shade on the decking.

My shed is very much med though, too blooming hot for me today. :heehee:
