    Bay tree/Laurus nobilis AKA Bay Laurel?

    But your leaf veins look too symmetrical.

      Initally, I agreed with you. But, looking at the leaf veins I'm not so certain :scratch:
      Axl's pix shows a very uniform vein structure ... your one looks rather hit and miss. :redface:

        It's got me stumped but the growth looks too flimsy to be bay I reckon. A lot of vigorous new growth so I think it's some sort of Summer flowerer but I shall be interested to find out ,

        Sorry everyone I shouldn't have rushed the first post!

        It's a climber, the customer bought it and told me it was a Orange Blossom, then it was a climber, then it was a Clematis Armandii!

        I thought it was on the tip of my tongue but turns out it wasn't. Stumped.

        That was my first thought, when I saw the first picture. Doesn't look quite right though - Cematis armandii is a more aggressive climber, and this looks more lazy than that! Leaf is similar though ... so might well be.
