I had about 10 sown, and left them out for about 8 hours accidentally and they just keeled over and died. I've got one cheeky survivor on the windowsil so hopefully I still get fruit.

I only have 2 growing and I put mine directly into the soil of my polytunnel, I will be using string to let it scramble about.

I put one of mine out into a bucket the side of my beans last week, so it can climb up the same supports. It doesn`t look like it`s doing much, still settling in I suppose.

Same here Pam , all the other plants and the few veg I grow are doing really well . The Cucamelon is just sat there looking a little sorry for itself.
I am thinking the 9ft tall wigwam I have built around it may be a bit ambitious

I havent gotten around to putting mine out yet, but they have grown up the side of the growlight, over the top & are making a break for freedom ... so Im guessing its a ground temperature thing thats holding them back outside.

I agree with Nick. Defo to do with ground temp I think.. The ones outside have not moved.. The ones in the poly tunnel are growing slowly and the ones in the greenhouse are doing well.. I really will try and remember some pics later..

I only have one left, but it looks at an identical stage to these other ones. The rest died of a cold snap, the last one is always hardiest.
