It was like that in Ireland when we first moved there, I could not believe the prices, then Tosco slid a toe in, they spread like wildfire, up side prices tumbled.

We have one Tesco store here but it makes no difference, their prices are up here as well. We don't get the benefits from Tesco either. We keep getting vouchers and points we can't use. The really annoying one is for petrol, they haven't got a station here!

                Sell them on ebay!

P.S. Are your local Wilkos handing out 20% off vouchers? When Tesco gave out all sorts of different vouchers in different regions people got together and swopped them so they could use a whole bundle in their local stores and get loads of money off.

                  I don't do ebay Scrungee.

I don't know about the vouchers at Wilko's either. I rarely visit the shop as it's twenty miles away but a local supermarket stocks some of their goods which is where I pick up some of their bits and pieces. :)

I pointed out to Mrs Scrungee that those flags, if part of a £20 shop using a Wilko £4 off £20 voucher, would work out at 2.8p/m2 - you can't buy material at a jumble sale that cheap. I was thinking of sewing them all together into patriotic potato frost protection sheets, but Mrs Scrungee thought somebody might not like my idea.

That must have been a local/regional reduction as Wilkos have only just reduced their green 24x cell tray inserts to 75p in all my local stores (but still full price online). NB The green inserts don't seem properly UV stabilised and should only be regarded as being suitable for one year's use, or for selling plants in. The black inserts last for years.

Johnsons seeds are now 50% off, previously 3 for price of 2, but as that involved multiple separate shops of same price seeds to get the full saving because that previous would only deduct the cost of all then cheapest seeds, this makes it a lots easier. NB I've checked their website and they're still showing as 3 for 2 online.

Don't forget to use the save £4 when you spend £20 vouchers, as the last date for use is 6th July. (which would get Johnsons seeds down to 60% off)

Petrol lawnmowers http://www.wilko.com/invt/0330466?awc=2400_1404566321_b4e7478975b2441bad353e65a87af7d5 have been reduced from £99 to £49.50 in SOME stores. The last Wilko £4 off £20 voucher is valid until Sunday 6th July and if you can locate a cheap mower would get it down to only £45.50.

None of the stores near me stock them, but if you've seen them in your local Wilkos it's worth a phone call to price check/reserve.
