Slug Proof/Resistant plants

    Well, bless you. I put in a flower garden for father's day, planting what I thought the slugs would eat== in raised bottomless pots glazed with sand, and/or double bottomless pots moated with rings of sand, while the colorful gerber duroras --which I was assured, the slugs Wouldn't eat--were set innocently in the ground. In the morning I found the slugs feasting away at Every new plant.
    They do not eat strawberry leaves or rosemary.
    They destroy marigolds and small geraniums.

    On Gardeners world the lovely Carrie Thomas a professional Aquilegia grower did say that Aquilegias were slug proof..so next year I'm going to grow them on mass around my little veg plot,some may get through but it's worth a go,the Aquilegias just might might put them off:blue thumb:

    I have Erynigium agavifolium and that certainly ain't!!!
