I'm sure it did scare you, I think once they identify what os going on they will be able to control it with medication, you will have to keep a check on it and take it easy while they sort it.
Will be posting some more pics up of aircraft soon by the way. Best wishes and I am sure it will work out NG.

So sorry to read this NG, could the divorce you mention have added to this by causing you stress? Sounds like you are getting the diet organised though, I agree about the fish, very tasty and very good for you. good luck with those tests, the results could well be better than you imagine.

You haven`t mentioned weight, are you carrying excess baggage, regards the walking set small goals and slowly increase the distance. My husband had angina, after a heart attack, for over 20 years, and it wasn`t anything coronary that finished him off.

I am slim/medium build. 5'9/10 height and about 12st 5. I think my bmi is ok??
My friends dad had angina, but died of cancer. The throat pain is horrible :( like being gripped around the throat!
I do have a bit of a paunch, but not huge! :)
@val the stress is more from ocd, than the divorce, but I do worry in the back of my mind about financial security and being alone.

I buy fish as it is said it is good for you, not very fond of it tho, Did experiment with various cooking methods and found the best is : Wash it, blot dry with kitchen towel season put it on a plate, cover with cling film 2 mins microwave no washing up cook up few taters, carrots, beans or frozen peas, Mayo or small knob of butter. Very easy, very tasty. Good luck with the hospital visitation, I am a veteran of those, take a bit of easy reading as you often have to do waiting about and a bag of sweets.....PS, My throat pain was diagnosed as tension

          Thanks :) @rosietutu
I was the only one in the ward on Thursday, and it ended up with just me and one nurse who was finishing at 9pm. Consequently they got a doctor (from somewhere) , not sure if she was fully qualified even. I couldn't communicate with her. I think she was Chinese, but it wasn't that so much. I would answer her questions, but she would ask again and suggest that I had said something else, because she obviously wasn't listening. Eventually the nurse got the consultant, but by then it was all rushed!! The nurse apologised for what happened and agreed it was all rushed within 10 minutes after waiting 4 hours :(
The nurse was brilliant though, and kept me informed what was happening every step of the way. First class. Treated like a human rather than a number. I have bought some chocolates for her, which she can share with the team.
My throat pain seems to come on during exertion, but I have had minor episodes at rest.

Why do they sell it! Healthier options are obviously just as cheap to make. The prawn linguine was very nice, and only £1.50! :)

Just as an aside - is there any chance that you may have some sort of infection (as in, dental abscess or chest infection)?

What a shocker! But, thank goodness they have diagnosed it while something can still be done about it (not everyone gets a warning).

You can still buy a whole chicken - you don't have to be married to have a whole one ;) - and you could either roast it, then take off all the meat for making meals with (you can freeze it in portion sizes) and then you could use the carcass to make some scrummy chicken stock. Cool the stock right down then skim off the layer of fat that will form on the top.

Now that you have been given a health awareness heads up, you can make lots of little lifestyle changes. No point tackling everything in one go because that is the route to failure.

Good luck with your new healthy regime

I no longer buy whole chicken as well, but I like legs, which is thigh and drumstick, for a roast dinner, or thighs for a casserole or curry. Not keen on breasts as I prefer the dark meat.
