                        I seem to see a Cinnabar Moth ever 5 years or so and while talking to one of my daughters in the garden last week I saw one fluttering by..........no camera to hand!!:gaah:

                        We have cinnabar moths visiting us every now and then, but haven't seen one this year yet.

                        In the pas few days we have a lot of scarlet tiger moths dancing about. This evening I counted 6 flattering above, unfortunately they didn't settle much, apart from this one landed high up in an ash tree. Thanks to the high zoom on the camera and my breath holding exercises :heehee:, managed this shot.

                        Saw this Snail Killing Fly (Sciomyzidae), looks like it had a lucky escape from some kind of attack, lost 2 legs but alive :eeew:. I wish we had more of this fly around since there are an awful lot of snails and slugs about and it's larvae parasitises the slimy little b....rs.

                              Must mean there's alot of Ragwort about this year, never had Ragwort in the garden before but this year i've pulled up 6 plants, it mite be because last year one neighbour didn't pull up he's Ragwort before it seeded :mad::yikes:
