    Hello chums:)
It's been three weeks since we moved, and I thought I'd better post a few pics, herewith...

    And from above....

It was quite spectacular when we moved in, as all the blossom was out. It's looking like a spring garden, which is great, in spring. I'll need to have a think about the rest of the year.

    Cheers...Freddy.

Well I love it Freddy. Just about my size TBH and I know that over time, you will be growing the things in there that are YOU. But whilst you are having to focus on the house a bit - as I'm sure you are having to, the garden is a pleasure to look at and that GH will be a little haven to retreat to on the wild, wet, and windy days.
Thank you for showing me your new place today,
      Jenny

You've certainly got an assortment of plants there Freddy and it all looks nicely laid out. As you say it needs some seasonal planting, enjoy yourself at the nurseries! :)

What a charming garden - and clearly loved by the previous owners.

I really enjoyed how you transformed your previous garden and I know you will soon have this one to your taste.

                  Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Thanks folks, some nice comments:blue thumb:

The previous owners were here from new, so some 45 years. It's not really the sort of garden that, if started from scratch, I would go for. However, I really like it, and at this stage, I'm not in any hurry to change things. In any event, I suppose I should live with it for a year to see how things change over the seasons. Of course, there will be some plants that don't 'do' it for me, so at some stage they will be replaced, but for now I'm quite happy to sit out there with a beer (or two;)) and soak it all up:blue thumb: Oh yes, I'm no 'plantsman', so there will be questions :)

                        Cheers...Freddy

Rather nice to be able to just move in and "enjoy" :)

Flipside is that if there is nothing there, or nothing of any merit, then one doesn't feel guilty just taking a bulldozer to it :)
