I was taught when I did my teaching assistant/adult learning courses, that yellow background is better, as well as a font that resembles handwriting, like Comic, is that still correct? It was a few years ago now. I know things like this wouldn't really be feasible on a forum though

It's a weird word isn't it. You can't help developing a lisp when you say it...:heehee:

The descriptive name for the condition should be a word without an 's' in it. Why can't they swap the words 'lisp' and 'limp' round? :ideaIPB:

                    Ah! Gotcha! :ideaIPB:

                    I didn't explain correctly.

I meant that they should swap the meaning of the words around. Then people that had difficulty with pronouncing the letter 's' would have a 'limp' and those that walked slightly unevenly would have a 'lisp'. 'Lisp' seems more logical to me for that condition as it reminds me of a ship that has a 'list' and leans to one side. :blue thumb:

Because someone with a lisp would be really confusing if they hurt their knee ... "I've got a terrible lisp this morning, but I can't tell you about it because of my limp" :heehee:

That makes no sense to me so I'm pretty sure the Bad Word Filter has swapped something. "The" perhaps? If only it was easier to spot what had been changed ...

... I see my coat is still on the hook where I left it :)
