Mmmmm, trunky, they look lovely. Very early ripening. I'm interested to know what they taste like.

Some more tomato photos....not as well on as trunky's:

Your Tumblimg Tom looks a bit worrying. I'm growing it and expected it to be a petite tumbler - suitable for a patio pot or a window box. Is it a wild monster?

Amazing what a few days of sun will do - I have a small tomato forest & have had to give the plants a bit of a trim so I can get in the door...

I was worried that nothing was getting pollinated, but lots of small fruit are appearing too - looking like its going to be a bumper year !

Jenny: I think it'd do fine. Mine is in a tall pot and I gave it 30l of Lidl's peat-free, chicken manure pellets and slow release granules, so it's gone nuts. As far as I know 'dwarf' plants like this mostly just have a short internode length, rather than being 'dwarf' in the sense of 'small', which it ain't. And it certainly does tumble rather than grow upright so could look mighty impressive in a windowbox if there was enough compost.

Jenny, it's not a problem but is usually better at a higher level, such as a window box or hanging basket. If you just have it in a pot on the patio it's likely to trail on the ground and attract slugs.

If you already have it in a pot then you should stand the pot on another, upturned, pot :blue thumb:

It looks like my tom's are going to have a bad year, eight plants and a handful of flower trusses between them. Manx Marvels outside are still looking pathetic!

I think this year's harvest will be later this year.

Mine are way ahead compared to last year.
Sowed them 2 weeks earlier than last year and the warm spring has helped too.
Fruits have set on the sungolds and tigerella

Stick a few bricks over the roots. warm up over daytime, release over night.
