    Thanks Jenny. It self seeds all over the place in our neighbourhood so I just assumed that it was a weed that I can live with (as it's easily spotted so I just allow a couple to grow on).

    It does,i grew it from seed from seed swap 2012,i grew the yellow flowered one(glutinosa?) but thats not come back this yr:frown: x

      Its on a full sun fence but being buried by the alfred carriere rose climber so i was lucky to spot it :heehee:
      I like the linaria too :blue thumb: it can stay :) x

      Salvia forsskaolii by the sounds (and look) of it.

      What!!:yikes: You can't kill S.glutinosa - it's just not possible:yikes:
      Mind you, it may have done you a favour as mine is at least two metres in diameter this year!
