My parents used ours! A bit naughty, but they're OAP's.

You go to Newton Abbot a lot? Worth a wee detour if so.

Yes, quite a bit. We keep our 'tourer' on a site just outside, in Teigngrace. Down there again in the non too distant future:)

Well, just got back from Newton Abbot, and popped into Hill House Nurseries while we were away. I have to say that I really enjoyed my visit and came back with a few plants, as you do:) Prices were very good and there were some quite unusual plants. They had quite a few Brugmansias, something I've not seen elsewhere. It's not your typical nursery/garden centre, with plants all lined up in neat rows. It has a much more relaxed atmosphere, and as for their cream teas:) We sat out in the garden to have ours, overlooking the pond and lawn beyond, with a large Cedar tree at the far end.....perfik! It's a bit off the beaten track, but not hard to find. Highly recommended:blue thumb:

Well, I was looking for something that would give plenty of flowering, and decided on a couple of Roses, 'Trumpeter' and 'Golden Celebration'. Picked up a Passion flower, 'Constance Elliot', a Monarda, 'Fireball', and a small red Dipladenia for the conservatory. All for less than £40:)

                            Presumably in their Red Border?

Any chance you could root me a piece for my Red Border please? Just layering a stem should do the trick I reckon??
