        Aloha everyone,

Woo, do you think we're being got at? :heehee:

I've just done 45 minutes of weeding as I thought it better to get it done before that hot thing in the sky woke up. I want to try and mow the wild area before it gets too hot but can't start on it until the neighbours wake up.

I've cut back almost all of that area, apart from where the bee orchids are, to stop the grasses seeding all over the veg garden. Taking down about 500 sq ft of 18" high grass and wild plants took some time and now I want to cut it properly.

They're forecasting another hot day! So I'll definitely stop work by 10 a.m. ;) :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

                    Good morning everyone,

Shiney, one minute you are needing an oily rag treatment the next you are trying to kill yourself another way!

WOO, you are as bad but at least you have protected your fence panels. Lovely sky picture again.

Loli, think we are wasting our breath on them two don't you? Hope your boys and the girls are coping with the weather ok.

Steve, you got to work this weekend?

Hi to everyone else who normally looks in.

Took Amber to the vet again yesterday for her boosters, they have added another virus to the concoction they inject now so she has to have a booster for that in four weeks but she was as good as gold didn't even flinch.

23.5 hours since I last took tram@dol. I have been taking 1 co-codamol every 5 or 6 hours for as long as I can hold out for but I am still very shaky and the co-codamol give me indigestion. I am just hoping the Lansoprazole I take for my gut will help a little. I can take more Co-codamol if needs be but I do not want to be addicted to them as I have been with the others. I am hoping that I only need them for a short while and for times when my legs, knees and feet are at their worst.

Have another lovely day everyone, cannot eat in this heat, just a few grapes for dinner last night. Might have a bit of cereal this morning before it gets too hot out there! God bless.:wub2: 236482.gif

Woo, the ten minutes difference is how long it takes for me to get to the bottom of the garden and back! :heehee:

Just back in from a bit more weeding. Mowing next but I suppose I should wait until at least 8.30 as both neighbours are retired.

Moyra, my excuse is that I've been trying to work off my 'man-flu'. :snork: Take it easy in this weather and it should cool down tomorrow. It looks as though the heavy rain is scheduled to hit us by 7 a.m. tomorrow.

Woo, this must be a mutual admiration society as you're my hero! :loll:

I managed to finish the mowing by 11 a.m. - delayed because I had to tie back the blackberries. I only, just in time, spotted the bee's/wasp's flying in and out of a hole in the ground and swung the mower out of the way. I'll take a photo later as they were going to and fro so quickly I couldn't tell what they were.

Temperature has just topped 80F :hate-shocked:

I'm going to do some shopping and want to, also, buy some paving to change my stepping stone path in the front garden to a solid, straight path. I'm finding that trimming around the stepping stones is becoming too much of a nuisance as I need to step into the flower bed to do one side. This time of year the flower bed is jam packed. So the new path will become the edge of the bed. It'll also make the bed wider. :blue thumb:

                              Morning all

Phew, I'm exhausted just reading what Shiney and Woo have been up to already.

Cloudy and humid here with a few showers. Sun's on it's way now though.

Hope everyone has a great day.
