I don't care about a better deal, just a better level of service. In the case of FedEx, ANY level of service would be an improvement!

I had to return a lap top, it was collected by the courier, arranged by supplier, it went to Llanelli, from there to Wednesbury, West Mids, near where I was born, back to Cardiff, where it sat for 5 days, I was tracking it because an expensive parcel, rang supplier on days 3 and 4, an 0830 number, they said it had been put into wrong parcel hub, eventually it arrived in Newcastle about 10 days after collection, I was then concerned it may have been damaged, problem eventually sorted. Last year I sent some old magazines to somewhere in Louisianna twice, very heavy, both parcels collected and delivered within 48 hrs !!!!!!!

If your goods are on the vans that come past my house then it will be the driver, we live on a blind bend, worst is the tractors then its the couriers/white van man, they all go around the blend as if no one is coming the other way (single track road) then they meet some one and have to hit the brakes hard, once or twice a week you will hear the vans having to brake hard then you hear all the packages hit the headboard of the van "Bump Bump Bump":nonofinger:

I agree that this happens, mostly due to the time pressure the drivers are on (I don't recommend you try it), however, the drivers should be aware of their cargo and drive appropriately.

Of all the couriers I have used . Hermes is the best. Could it be because our driver is a Woman? if she gets no reply she has the nouse to put parcels in the shed with out being told, those ones that don't need a signature.
