There seems to be a rapid turn over of leaves on my sanguinea with spotting followed by yellowing and dropping off. Anyone else have this problem?

Not seen the spotting before Strongy, but I always found lower leaf loss a problem at this time of the year, they just dont like heat.
Come autumn with cool nights and heavy dew, and then they are happy.

I lose leaves as you describe, but without the spotting.

Thanks Joolz, it's possibly Blight or similar. If it gets worse it'll be binned (or burnt). I'll have to keep an eye on the other two.
Temperature wise we have only had two days over 22c this year so not particularly hot.

@strongylodon - I just noticed the leaf curl that yours is suffering. Mine certainly has none of that either. The exact opposite in fact - they are floppy a lot of the time when it's too warm.

Whey hey ... I've just picked my first two pods off B 'Charles Grimaldi' and I didn't even know they were there ... What strange seeds they are as well and what a palavra to soak and unpeel them (according to the BGI) and no telling what you'll eventually get. I've no requirement for them so if anyone is interested, please let me know.
