Slow release fertiliser in the compost (whatever is lying around at the time) and tomato feed at least once a week, but usually twice or more once they get to this size. :blue thumb:

That's my feeding regime as well :blue thumb: @shiney I can ID most of your basket plants except for one in your photo below. Could you tell me what the purple one with white centre flash is ? ( lobelia ?)

@HarryS Yes, it's a lobelia :blue thumb:. Can't remember which one but it's a lot bluer than the photo suggests. With plenty of feed it does very well. :)

@Jenny your 'million bells' looks very good :blue thumb:

Most of my plants in pots are shrubs, including the majority of my Rhodos, Roses, etc so not really ickle flowery things. I have planted lots of Fuchsias and some other annuals grown from seed but they aren't really in bloom yet but when they are I will post some pics :)

I tend not to do baskets but I do pots in a big way!
I won't bore you with them all, but I will show you one of the very best plants for pot culture - Sollya heterophylla. It produces masses of these small blooms in blue or white in large numbers.............

When in full bloom (which lasts from late spring/early summer through to mid/late October) the effect is spectacular................

Not super hardy, it will need protection in a cold winter, but very long lived.

Dead heading these is a most soothing way to spend an hour or so on a summers evening.

begonias are named let me know and I will add if you want ?

hanging baskets are getting bigger so I will start feeding with tomato food from now on which will help in producing flowers
