    Hi all.

Could anyone identify the green flowers in this flower display please? We have been given some and think they're beautiful so we would like to know what they are and how to grow them...

Ha... That'll sort it! How about the pink one? My wife is now planning a plantathon for a neglected part of our garden...

Love lady's mantle, it's quick to grow and the colour goes great with pinks and purples in my opinion. The few small plants here are now in full bloom and it should look nice once the anemone and fuchsia are out.

Is it a self-seeder or creeper?

Seems to have a tuberous root, which I have broken bits off of and replanted. Soon recovers and starts growing new leaves.

Sorry Shiney, I think it looks more like an Allium. :) Valerian tends to have a 'tighter' flower.

Alchemilla Molis (Lady's mantle) is so easy to grow and will fill all the gaps in a flower bed in no time. Don't pay too much for it though, I've seen plants at £5 or £6 but you can often buy two for £3 in somewhere like Morrisons and you don't need a big plant to start as it's such a quick grower. Of course it's also one which gardeners are happy to share for the same reason.
