Hi Jenny just thought you might like to know that on Tuesday 15th July on BBC2 at 8pm until 9pm,that is for 1 hour(no adverts) there is the first part of a two part series and its called Hive Alive, its all about the Honey Bee, I know it will be of interest to you,so could you please tell all your friends who might not see this thread, just in case I will post another thread nearer to the day ,Oh just had a thought, can you let Fern and Spruce know,:ThankYou::lunapic 130165696578242 5:
            ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The honeybee is one of our most treasured insects. Aside from the honey they produce, bees pollinate plants and play a vital role in the agricultural industry. Without them, many of the foods we eat on a daily basis would become scarce. Filmed in the heart of rural England, this two-parter reveals everything there is to know about the amazing honeybee. We’ll see what happens in the hive, track bees at work and discover the latest scientific discoveries about them.

Martha Kearney, who joins Chris Packham and Professor Adam Hart, says: "As any beekeeper will tell you, the secrets of the hive are fascinating. We will be learning how honey can save human beings, how bees can navigate miles from home and about their incredible relationship with flowers."

So: just to clarify (we're not talking butter here :heehee:) ... there will be 2x 60 minute (no ads) offerings of bee culture?

Now, is that (honey) spread over a week; or, two consecutive days? :noidea:

Sorry to be a pedant, but I bow to the wisdom of my faithful Old Owl :grphg: (and, a big :ThankYou: to our Fern for raising the matter :dbgrtmb: )
