Blimey you've had some shocking thunder and lightening down south...

Woo...Poor Penny...Archi and Theo aren't at all bothered by storms but neither was my previous dog until he reached 5 years of age,up until then he'd go out and play in them but after that he became more frightened as the years went by We do our best to console them don't we

Moyra..Hope you soon get rid of your headache,this humid weather doesn't help does it...

Shiney...Wish Mrs Shiney good luck from Yorkshire I'm sure she'll do well...It's going to be hot in those Marquees again today according to your forecast....

It's just started raining here and I ought to go out and tie a few things up,the bad stuff is expected up this way later...

Morning all, hope you are well.

Been up and at it this morning, got all my jobs out the way (except some dead heading as it was raining when I got back home). It is very very warm, and sticky, doing anything labour intensive is draining.

Best of luck to Mrs Shiney, I am sure she will walk away a worthy winner.

Take it easy @moyra , hope the headache soon clears.

@Lolimac , the lightning has been something to behold, hope you like yours when you get it

Shiney..How did Mrs Shiney get on at the flower show?..

Woo...I had to check the calendar last night I thought it was November the 5th,there were fireworks going off left right and center..it goes from one extreme to the other round here,from a pleasant garden party that unfortunately got rained off in the afternoon to an all night rave up..

Had real heavy rain overnight,still no thunder though but it's made the ground perfect for planting,I'm trying to fill the gaps the slugs and snails keep making and I think I'm winningI think I've found a way to kill them...feed them as many plants as possible so they die of obesity
I got the Eucalyptus tree cut down yesterday,I was sad to see it go but it had to be done as I'm getting passed shinning up it to keep topping it every year.The main trunk is still there as it's used as a post to tie my Rasperberries up.

It's lovely out there fresh after the rain but warm,if it stayed like this all day it would be just the job but it's going to get hotter

I am finding this weather very debilitating. But with Woo's words ringing in my ear, keep up the bouncability! Afraid that is in short supply here. but will try my best.

Shiney do hope H did well with her displays at the local village show. Take it easy today in what ever the weather throws at us. Hailstones the lot by the sound of it.;

Loli, at the moment the storms do not affect Amber but then I show no anxiety as I actually enjoy them, it is the electricity it fires me up with the hope that they will clear the air. I hope Amber doesn't change as she gets older.

Steve, enjoy your holiday from now on, take it easy and take each day as it comes.

Holiday week starts here, have a few jobs to do in the garden, but have all week to do them.

Mrs HG is off too, and wants a few day trips out, I'll see if I can get her to a few gardens
