              That's a lovely red rose Woo! :)


              These first two pictures are 'Lincolnshire Yellow Belly', how different the flowers look when fully open. This rose also looks a lot different to how it bloomed last year.

                    Woo, I didn't realise 'Rob Roy' went that far back, I chose it because I was looking for a red rose and I read a lot of Scottish history so this had to be the one! :) It has a very deep sweet perfume of the past if that makes sense. If only we could have 'smelly' GC, wouldn't that be wonderful?

                    As a Rosarian can you remember many rose perfumes that you have worked with down the years, or once passed the sniffer are they forgotten?

                          Always remember the scent of everyone :old:,one that stands out for me for its scent is "Ena Harkness" (1946) memories are made of scented Roses:smile:

                          Loli lovely Rose my friend:blue thumb::smile: I remember it well that was the year England won the world cup and I was there,as far as i can remember it has a lovely rich Damask :smile:spicy scent,it has also produced a sport "Sunday lemonade" (1986)very Strong fruity scent
