    Okay, I've had enough! 25C today and I'm suffering. :phew: I've just brought our desk fan out of mothballs and I think it's only seen daylight three times in the 22 years we've lived here!

    9.50pm and it's 22C.

                    After days of unbearable heat yesterday was a lovely cool grey day :blue thumb: This morning was similar and it was a lovely temperature as we explored the allotments. Then back home for breakfast and the sun has just come out now. The air doesn't feel quite as muggy and horrible as before....I can cope with this :biggrin:

                      Not a cloud in the sky....21.4C in the shade in the garden at the moment. The breeze is nice. My maskotka is loving the heat. I've had a few toms now from my hanging basket with lots ripening up. :hapydancsmil:

                          Bright, Sunny and hot from the time the Sun rose over the horizon. By 10.a.m. the temperature was 82f and right now it's got up to 84f................lovely!!!:hapydancsmil::hapfeet::coffee:

                            Too hot! :phew: 87F (30+C) with just slight breeze.

                            The breeze wasn't enough to blot out the sound of something creaking (no, it wasn't my joints :heehee:) so I had to investigate. On of my poplar trees is splitting!! :yikes: I hope it survives until Tuesday as I have a tree surgeon coming round to do some work elsewhere in the garden.
