They're looking lovely Jenny! :dbgrtmb: My baskets are pathetic this year and don't warrant a picture.

So sorry Sheal . It wasn't an easy Spring - but this is a very sheltered little garden down an alley way,

No need for you to be sorry Jenny but thank you. We've had the best of the British weather here this year.....so far. Spring was gentle and should have made for a good gardening year but it wasn't to be. Nothing has done well this year.....baskets, beds or tomatoes, very strange! :doh:Perhaps the plants on this island have got used to growing in bad weather. :heehee:

That's a great pic, mowgley, and a very nice colour. I only have white Hydrangeas as in the early year, with my sandy neutral soil, the red/pink ones usually turned a horrible wishey washey colour.

I like clean strong colours and that Hydrangea of your is a good 'un:snork:

Thx @longk it's the sum & substance flowers in that picture, the flowers are huge this year.
                Must divide next year

Very kind of you to say @ARMANDII but I think the black fence panel accentuates the colour more

Perhaps:dunno: But it's still a nice colour and certainly not a wishey washey pink!!:snork:
