    @longk
    Flowers most of the year round with me, a lot of people really like the smell of the leaves. I don't have a white form but I do have a pale yellow, which is a lot less vigorous.
    I think the blue one could be S meyeri
    This is another Salvia that I grew from seed and cannot find a label for now.

            Better red like this by growing it in partial shade. Last year it was in full sun and more orangey.

                  This is a sibling of the above Dyson's Crimson. Seed sown and germinated in early Spring this year and has flourished. A few days ago, the first flowers arrived and they are the same as their Mum's. Now, confession time - I had Salvia Hians which flowered this year but I didn't like them at all - plants too big for my garden - so - off to recycling with them and Dyson's Crimson put in one of the pots. A nice coarse gritty mix of 50%/50% good MPC and JI No.3 with some slow release shrub granules at the bottom. Should make a nice specimen pot next year - or maybe , even later this year?

                    Do you have any photos? I'd be interested to see them.

                    The look darker in the photos Jenny? More like the colour of my Raspberry Royale.

                    I took this with my Nokia Lumia 1020. I have just put them in gro-sure compost because they have been struggling of late. Hopefully they will recover soon :)

                    It got very leggy ,uninteresting and downright scruffy in the end.
                    I'll keep my eye on them Keith. It may be because they are young blooms?
