He was really a Country and Western singer and was very popular. This song has had 1.3 million views.



Although I prefer the Pointer Sisters version

 

I've just been watching John Denver on TV and one of the programmes had his 1979 Wembley Arena show. I kept trying to spot myself in the audience but no luck! Although I probably wouldn't have recognised myself anyway .
