Toby visit day today. Still widdles as he comes out on the drive to meet us. Apparently, we're the only persons he does that for!!
He is calming down a bit now and didn't bite me or Mr Namaste today. Still no bark but we heard him burp!
He is a cuddly chap and likes to be brushed too which is useful. he went for his first walk in the Park on Sunday and met quite a few other dogs - some of whom were bigger than him which is good as he tends to be the boss puppy at training classes 'cos he's the biggest there , so it was good for him to see that he needs to show restraint and respect sometimes,

He goes a bit "blonde" in the summer Jenny!
The old lady decided she wanted his food this morning so she gave him one across the chops! I'm sure that he was just being polite though as she's twenty and he could have her for breakfast!

 

Toby is a little star Jenny Camping last weekend , the family opposite us had a German Shepard pup called Zeus , an adorable fluffy puppy , I never knew they were so fluffy.
Puppy training classes are a great idea , we took Molly on two courses. The first ten minutes were always like a full scale riot as they all said hello to each other. But we found them very useful and lots of fun !

 

What a handsome chap Woo. Their eyes have so much depth in them don't they .... Very intelligent dogs and all they need is a good upbringing with lots of love and hugs and training as to what's right and what's wrong,

It's been quite a while since our friends had owned a GS pup and the classes teach them what words and actions to use. Down is "down to ground with belly on the deck". OFF is applied when he's jumping up at you to greet you. It's a good command 'cos he's gonna be a weighty dog and needs to know not to do this. Apparently the Trainer said " what word you put in front of that command is between you and your dog !" She is toughie but has a good sense of humour,

A beautiful creature Woo...

 

A first for Toby today. He came to visit us. We all went off for a 1 mile round trip walk in a field down the road and then back for a drink and to meet a couple of neighbours.
he was a trifle thirsty and obviously his front feet were hot as well!

then he settled down in the shade of a tree and was as good as gold
