      Well tonight I am going to watch Leaving Las Vegas, I like watching this mainly for the terrific music.

      Terrific film! Nicholas Cage has rarely been better (actually, he's rarely been any good since this film). I must dig this one out again soon.

      I woke up at 3am (the kind of wake up where you know that that is it for the night) so I got up and watched Filth. WATCH OUT, THIS TRAILER MAY OFFEND SOME PEOPLE................


      Not a great film, but fun in a very dark way. Great performance from James McAvoy and a fun cameo from Jim Broadbent too.

        Two great films in two nights! After Lawless last night this evening we watched Winters Bone.............


        Actually it's better than a classic - it's a stone cold masterpiece! The two leads, Jennifer Lawrence and John Hawkes are outstanding. If you like great acting, intelligent film making and are not reliant on action to get your kicks watch this. On Netflix.
        Feelgood it ain't!

          'Carry on Loving' !!!
          Really made me laugh. I am a big fan of the 'Carry on' team.
          But.........there was one bit which I am surprised they didn't edit. I love all the inuendo, but I was so shocked at one bit in particular. I don't think it would get past the censors these days (not sure).
          Maybe it would if they allowed it this time.

                  As it was our wedding anniversary on the 13th we treated ourselves to three new DVD's as we haven't bought any for ages.They are...Gravity... Non Stop...and lastly DRAGON.Looking forward to watching these.:biggrin:
