Apple wine

    Just strained into demijohn and am left with the raisins etc. Any good for anything outside of the compost?

    I've tried baking them into cakes, orrible :eeew:

    Chickens will probably like em :chicken:

    I just chuck it all on the compost.

    Not had much luck with apple wine - I tend to find once its fermented it doesnt really taste of anything - but it could just be the apples.

    Our hens wont eat pressed pommace, try getting some pigs.

    Have to be dwarf pigs as the garden isn't that big!!
