Yep, did that one back in 2008. Not the most spectacular one I've done, just a trig pillar in a field, which was slightly higher than all the other fields nearby.

Having said that, I do think Rutland is a beautiful county, with a distinct landscape and character all of its own. :)

Always wondered what the highest point in Cornwall looked like Trunky. (Trying to avoid the double entendre). Seen it signposted from the road and often wanted to stop off and walk it.
Looks well worth planning in the walk next time we head southwest.

        Great thread.

I've taken up sketching places I go in the past couple of months. It gives me somewhere to go and come back with something without spending any of my pennies in the process. I especically like sketching abandonned buildings.

Thanks @Lolimac that means a lot. I have an exhibition coming up soon and wonder if I should include a couple of these or not as some are a bit scruffy.

Number 20 on my list of 'county tops' visited. Not the most spectacular it must be said, but this field in the village of Great Chishill is actually the highest point in Cambridgeshire.

Only 17 more counties to do now. :rolleyespink:

Thank you very much @Autumn bliss. I'm sorry to say that the above sketch of the abandoned building sold yesterday at the exhibition I'm currently running. Only charged a fiver for it though as they don't take me long to do. Will have to go there and sketch another one, then charge double. :snork:

Garrowby Hill isn't on my list Lol.

I've treated the whole of Yorkshire as one county for the purposes of my list, making the highest point Whernside in the Pennines.

I climbed that one back in 2002, did a walk up from the Ribblehead viaduct. Lovely part of the country. :)
