My beautiful baby Kai died yesterday morning. He'd had an infection and was very ill but we thought he was getting better. We've buried him under his favourite tree, an ancient magnolia where he'd lie in the shade in the summer. Sweet dreams my gorgeous boy.

 

Oh lost_in_france, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful Kai. Our pets are so much a part of our lives. You can still talk to him when you are in the garden ... I talk to all of my departed cats, three of which are buried in our garden, the fourth's ashes are in an urn on t'other half's desk as she was his special girl.
He will always be in your memory and heart remembering special moments. RIP Kai.

 

So sorry @lost_in_france , the day every owner dreads. He will have sweet dreams under his favourite tree. Passing over the rainbow bridge.

 

@lost_in_france ..... I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
He was a lovely looking fella, and I know what it is like after losing my GS.
I lost one of my cats last year, but I know it was the right thing to do because she was suffering. I will be absolutely lost when I lose her gorgeous sister though, and it is upsetting me now even thinking about it. She will be 18 next week.
Your loss sounds like it was a bit of a shock. Think of him with happy memories that you gave to each other. Best wishes and R.I.P. Kai.

these two boys are never far from each other. It is sweet to watch their friendship. When one goes some where, the other follows . The one on the top of the picture is named Phantom, the bottom one is Panther. they are from the same mother, two different litters. (before I got smart and fixed her) Both very sweet. Panther has a sweet music tone to his talking, and just loves to be petted. Phantom is a quiet one.
