      I've used bathroom scales previously, most weigh upto 28 stone (392lb) and you can use two sets in tandem for weights bigger than that.

                  I started full time work 2 week back so ive not been able to check on mine,so today finally i harvested mine because i wasnt sure when i would get chance again,here goes :heehee:

                  I tried weighing it on wilkies scales ,it said almost 6 stone but all the pumpkin was on there so doubt thats accurate :dunno:
                  And i got 5 jack o lantern :)

                      I cut one of the smaller ones off the plant yesterday, just to see how easy or hard it was to move and take home, a practice run so to speak.

                      With help from a friend, we put a wheelbarrow on its side next to the fruit and managed to "rock it up" then get it in the van. Unfortunately, the wheelbarrow tipped up inside the van and the fruit rolled out, so now it has a fist sized gouge ripped out of it.

                      I'll have to rethink my strategy as the two remaining growing fruit, are bigger!
