Apart from flower size and petal shape there is a lot less variance amongst them than I was expecting. I have so much difficulty buying plants with genuine Red flowers I bought one-of-each of the Dahlias with a view to keeping the "one or two that are actually red". Apart from the Pink one! they are all keepers - although I am going to ditch the ones with small flowers.

Wow I love those Dahlias! I've ordered Black Jack and Black Monarch but might have to give some of those a go. I'm looking for a very dark (almost black) reddish pink at the moment but can only find something that is too red/black

My hibiscus trionum is doing really well this year. @longk do you keep yours outside in the ground or take it indoors over winter? I'm going to leave one outside (cover it up though) to see how hardy it is, and take the other one inside for safe keeping.

Nerine - Bought the bulbs 4 years ago, but ever since they were planted I haven't seen any sign of them, I thought they must have all died, consequently more plants got placed on top of them in the past 3 years. I was pleasantly surprised when this one pushed its head up..
