That's all the media companies banned then, and a fair few individuals.

Same as above, plus, some might argue, the UK government banned. We don't have a true democracy in the UK. (that's a subject in itself, I'll leave it there for now though).

That's the media and the government banned then.

Hey, that's a good idea. Maybe the conservative party could ban themselves:)

So being on a ministerial wage and saying what the whole populace already knows makes her a woman to watch?

Like hell it would. She is a career politician on a par with Cameron when it comes to ruthlessly grabbing what they want. She ruthlessly destroyed the career of Michael Gove who was the only minister this government has put forward to have shown any proficiency.
The only difference between her and Thatch is that Thatch at least had some intellect.

And by putting an end to the inbred racism of a large percentage of the British.

            Happy Birthday Theresa;)

            Theresa May(
Now we know who we are talking about);)

Born on 1 October 1956 at Eastbourne, Sussex, May is the daughter of Rev.Hubert Brasier, an Anglican clergyman by his wife, Zaidee née Barnes.[1][2][3]

May was educated at primary and grammar schools in the State sector, as well as a short spell at an independent Catholic school. She initially attended Heythrop Primary School, Oxfordshire,[4] followed by St. Juliana's Convent School for Girls, a Roman Catholic independent school in Begbroke, which closed in 1984. At the age of 13, she won a place at the former Holton Park Girls' Grammar School in Wheatley in Oxfordshire. In 1971, the school was abolished and became the site of the new Wheatley Park Comprehensive School during her time as a pupil.[5]May then went up to the University of Oxford where she read Geography at St Hugh's College, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in 1977.[6]

Between 1977 and 1983 May worked at the Bank of England, and from 1985 to 1997, as a financial consultant and senior advisor in International Affairs at the Association for Payment Clearing Services. She served as a Councillor for the London Borough of Merton from 1986 to 1994, where she was chairman of Education (1988–90) and Deputy Group Leader and Housing Spokesman (1992–94). In the 1992 general election May stood unsuccessfully in the safe Labour seat of North West Durham and subsequently failed to win the 1994 Barking by-election. In the 1997 general election May was elected as Conservative MP for Maidenhead which extends westerly almost as far as Reading to the village where she lives.

Yes, because she is the only one who has had the guts to actually spell it out.

People should have a right to be racist if they want to be. Why should people be forced to integrate with other races of people just because it is convenient for governments if we do so? The more you force people to integrate the more resentment it will cause. Are you suggesting that people shouldn't be patriotic anymore??

Sorry, but I've heard the same thing from countless politicians. Also from work colleagues, friends, family and from Muslims. It's no great revelation at all.
Personally I would rather hear less posturing about it. I would be far happier if I suspected that the government were using special forces to assassinate the leaders and fundraisers of extremist organisations rather than pussyfooting around.

Racism and integration are totally different things. Racism is always unacceptable. I agree that choosing not to integrate is a choice that should be down to the individual.

I think you will find that true racism is very much more prominent in other countries, than in Britain.
Even a large number if immigrants that enter this country are actually racist, and I mean that in the true meaning of the word.

Britain is one of the most tolerant countries in the world, IMO.

I agree that we're quite good but I do feel that there is considerable room for improvement.

Is it also ok to be sexist? And is it ok to hate old people if we want to? I don't mean any particular old people, I mean just any. I.e. can we hate people just because they are old if we want to?

It used to be ok to just do what you liked.
Now you have to pretend to like other people even if you dont, because the law says you cant descriminate.
But it goes on, and it always will.
Who has the right to say, you will like a particular kind of person?????

Its not going to work, and never will, there will always be tensions between differing sections of society.
All this forceing and law making just pushes it underground.

And in a land of free speech:snork:, (just dont step out of line, unless your a muslim preacher and then its OK), we, (the ones who were born here), should be able to.

Nobody does. But that wasn't my question. I asked if it was ok to hate someone just because of their age, or their gender. 'Hate' is not the same as 'not particularly like'. I see racism, sexism etc as hate, strong dislike or contempt based on nothing more than race, gender etc, whereas the latter (not particularly like) is just indifference.

And usually at the root of racism, sexism, and other phobias is fear. The fear that it will bring change whether good or bad to their world.:dunno::coffee:
