Snails !.

    I have lived in this area for about 40 years, but this year I have never seen so many large Snails in the gardens and pathways in all the years I've lived here.
    There are large empty shells strewn all over the place.

    Is this Climate change?. We seem to be getting more heavy downpours of rain now. much more than I remember in the past.
    If this trend continues I think I will be Exporting L'escargot to the French.:thumbsup:.

    Not if they're Helix Pomatia they are a protected species!!! :)

      Val it's not me it's my Delphiniums;)...

      One thing I have definitely noticed this year more than any other is how thin the shells are:scratch: when I pick them off my plants no matter how careful I am before I fling them (may the lord forgive me) the shells are so thin they just splat:dunno:

      Why do snails remind me of Humbugs:scratch:
