Bet you 'Can' wait to see mine @Mad Hatter :heehee:....

Thought I'd best see my Pumpkin free....got the steps out....

    P1060038.JPG

Very carefully lifted him down and rested him on the ground after trying to balance him coming down the steps:phew: Ey...all 38lb of him:biggrin:

    P1060042.JPG

Then thought about drying him off because he was wet but naah didn't bother:doh:

Picked him up and started to wander across the garden then....:yikes:Nooooooooo he was slipping through my hands, after bouncing on my knee he landed with a splat:doh: You've never heard such language in your life:mute::whistle:

    P1060043.JPG

:gaah:....Annnyway,I've wrapped his wounds in cling film and hope he can last out till I carve him:fingers crossed:

Let's face it we all knew this was going to end in tears :rolleyespink::heehee:....

At the end of the day I've had a blast growing him:dbgrtmb: this is always a great thread and I love to see how you experts do it:love30:....thanks for all the great advice

Ey 38lb is nothing to be sniffed at (for me anyhow)...it's my personal best and I'm happy with that:dancy:Roll on 2015:blue thumb:

(my knee 'urts a bit though:doh:)

Sorry to hear this Lol, after all that to have it slip and bust is a pain in the vine! Maybe, the fruit was trying to tell you something by getting onto the ground for the first time in its life..:yahoo:

Anyway, next year over a 100lb for you!

        Steve...:)
