Not able to resist cheap air fare, I'm in New Zealand for a couple of weeks - they are just putting the spring bedding out here:

Things are slowing down now . I have composted all my other petunias , but the Petunia Explorer F1 , grown from seed , from a Japanese company is still going strong. Dahlias are still doing OK , and the cup and saucer vine Cobaea Scandens has lots of flowers on it now the thing is huge now ! A nice vine , looks good and can cover a lot of area.

Ricinus looking good tonight before the winds come



Acer sango kaku

 

The Ricinus, the Butia and Brahia all look good and your Sango Kaku has more colour than mine.
Let's hope the wind isn't as bad as they say it will be.
