What did you have for dinner?

We went out to a lovely Thai restaurant last night

 

Scrummy: but, what did you *eat*!!???

 

Roast chicken here too. It cost a tenner from my butcher but it was a proper local farm reared chuck and the extra cost is well worth it. Shoved a sausagemeat, onion and sage stuffing up its butt. Layered potato & onion with oregano and a cheese crust (use milk for moisture) on the side with brussels, broad beans and peas. Proper homemade gravy using the cooking juices and water.

Tonight I'll do a chicken and mushroom risotto with the leftovers.

We had a set menu so I'm not entirely sure what the names are we had a lovely platter of starters, then beef in a chilli sauce (that was similar to black bean sauce), sweet & sour pork, a chicken noodle dish & chicken green curry. And rice. And lager/wine it's only the second time we've had Thai, really enjoy it!!

It was, both delicious & for my birthday/wedding anniversary we also went out on the town on Saturday in Manchester lazy sofa day today

I just got back from a Mongolian restaurant with the in-laws. Yum!
