Yes there is a cement works Armandii because when we drive round or climb up into the hills you can see the chimney down in the valley but it blends in with the scenery quiet well.Dont care what anyone says Blighty has so many beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty, I feel blessed to live here.:hapfeet:and all countries of the world have their eyesores:mute:

:heehee: We've had relatively very little rain all this year, Woo, and the Cats have got used to lying out in the Sun so this rain is a bit of a cat-astrophe for them.:hate-shocked::heehee::cat-kittyandsmiley:

Hi Kandy, I must admit a Cement Works was the last thing on my mind when driving in the Dales. I have to confess that it's been a while since I've seen such narrow, twisting and turning roads and so many "blind" corners which made driving very interesting!!:hate-shocked::heehee: One "main" road was merely a strip of tarmac going over the Hills.
Bringing this post back to the Weather despite all the miserable forecasts for that week we had cloudless skies in the morning and some clouds later on....with no rain!!:snork:

It was dry until late afternoon yesterday and then damp but not really raining.

This morning is dry and drear - but it will brighten up.
