"Big dreams, small spaces" ... right up my (garden) path that one (in fact, pretty sure I said something similar in one of my posts when I moved here :heehee:)

Thanks for posting that Loli - I would have missed it otherwise

The gardens range from a £2oo budget to £15000.Monty did advise " what ever budget you have for your garden double it"...I can relate to that:whistle:

If I recall, researchers visited here looking for people for this programme some time ago, at least they where looking for gardeners with projects.

            Steve...:)

                    I've recorded it.
Mr "M" is off today (after a 10 day straight stint) so I'm recording my bits and bobs and leaving him control of the digit for the night :blue thumb:

I liked the the incidental happenings in these programmes like finding the cobbled path in one of the gardens.
It's nice to see the joy on the gardeners faces when they achieve the garden of their dreams.
Really like Monty, as Lolli says he gets stuck in, not just a man that points out where he wants things planting.

You mean not "preaching" ? (unlike one of his Great-Great- (maybe another Great needed) Grandfathers :roflol: He was on "Who Do You Think You Are" this afternoon, BBC2, so still accessible on iPlayer - and he has a very interesting background! I liked him more because of it - but then I do like a nice skeleton or two in cupboards; especially this time of year :heehee: )

Yep I saw his search on WDYTYA when it was first broadcast M and enjoyed it. I really enjoy that programme and to go off topic slightly, think Mathew Pinsent was one of the really interesting ones, and that Jeremy Paxman really exposed his inner softie on his journey.
To get back to Monty he has a vulnerability about him, or to continue your theme he has a bit of the 'lost soul' about him that saves him from being too preachy:smile: He has also like many of us used gardening to escape from the pressures of life so think that comes across in his style of presenting too.
