    Just heard on the radio news that Alvin Stardust has passed away aged 72 after a short illness...

      Blimey another one gone - would never have guessed he was 72, but then haven't seen him for years (since the 70s probably!)

          I had no idea he was that age either. Sad news.
          I think my ex's dad knew him too, but not sure.
