What Jobs are we doing in the Garden today 2014..

Lawns cut yesterday so pottered in the borders ,I'm reluctant to start pulling things out and cutting back just yet as things are still trying to flower albeit a bit hit and miss,collected leaves stared at my Buxus and praying it's just wind scorched,cleaned the chooks out and retreated into the GH to stare at my cuttings because the wind was getting on my ning nangs

well i planted 250 + bulbs!!! i did have a plan all written out where i wanted them that lasted a few minutes ! plans were blown all over the garden so they are just higglety pigglety now! will probably look better lol

 

NOOOO because I don't want anyone telling me it's blight or I'll have one of my turns

cutting the grass area way down in the valley, the sides that flank the gazebo.

 

Dug up some baby basjoos and potted them on.
Dug up most of the summer bedding and planted 60 odd wall flowers
Took some coleus cuttings. Was going to mow the lawn but ran out of daylight
Took some brug cuttings as well.
Does anyone know why my fuchsia 'korelle' cuttings aren't rooting?

 

Normal one's not good enough for you?

 

Hadn't been home for a month so spent the morning weeding the front garden and pulling up the annuals, cutting down the 'spent' perennials and planting 300+ bulbs. Prepare to repeat in the back garden tomorrow.

today i bought hubby a present (for the garden) hehehhe some fence posts and spikes im sooooooooooooooooooooo thoughtful oh and i carried them around to the back garden and placed them in a nice neat pile ready for him

 

Hired a digger to sort out the in laws compost heap. apparently clay pots, old trowels and dog toys fit the "will compost" section.

 

That sounds more like what you'd find in the garden of a new build Mad Hatter!
