I'm in the middle of cooking mine. Mrs Shiney is having a veggie risotto but I saw some nice looking braising steak (usually use shin) in Aldi when I was shopping this morning so got some.

A simple meal of browned onions, a hint of garlic, browned meat then braised with carrots, potatoes and a few mushrooms, a few fresh herbs, a touch of wine, a hot chilli (chopped) and served with cabbage.

Apple and blackberry crumble (no sugar, flour or fat) to follow.

Last night I cooked a honey glazed rib eye steak, roasted carrots and parsnips, corn on the cob, home made chips and some beautiful red wine sauce for our anniversary. Truly Delightful.
