    From an earlier garlic thread

I go through the entire display selecting the packs with the biggest bulbs in and check that they're not soft or have signs of mould. I rarely buy garlic as I re-plant every year, but every so often I when I need new stock I get them at £2.99 less 10% (discount card) = £2.69 for 55 cloves = 5p per clove. The prices on the site JWK posted a link to made me feel quite unwell.
