I'm coming back next year, getting my onion bed sorted out in the next few weeks

 

@Vince ....What variety are you going to grow ? thought I might try Ailsas and one or two Kelsaes.This year my Kelsae weren't any bigger than a normal onion but I think that was down to me

 

I'll be growing Kelsae, Bedfordshire Champion and Long Red Florence.

 

My Kelsaes haven't stored very well, loosing the outsides. Still lovely in the middle though

 

If you specifically want big 'uns, Kelsae are still the best
