    .... a trip to Lincoln: 3 hours there ... 5 hours back (don't ask!)

If a picture paints a thousand words, I think Ozzy's expression just about sums up his experience:

"Are we nearly there yet? I'm being *very* patient .... "

"Oh dear: don't look! The Dad-Man is driving .... paws crossed we get home in one piece!"

Awwwwwww. What a good dog. Only one of mine behaves in a car but she is a patient girl all the time. The other two are like toddlers.

        Thank you @Lea :)
He is a very good dog (considering his wretched first year). When we got him we were told he didn't like travelling in a car.
Had to laugh at your other two being like toddlers in the car :heehee: I'm *so* glad those days are behind me (toddlers in cars I mean ;) )

Crossed paws, reminds me of my Zoe.
She loved being in the car, soon as I opened up the back she was in.

          He looks quite contented.

Lovely photo @"M", I am partial to big dogs, having grown up with a pyrennean mountain dog. There's not much beats a BIG cuddle from a BIG dog :doggieshmooze:

                :roflol: so that'd make him a malamute x GSD x cat! :cat-kittyandsmiley:

She was a border collie, often crossed her paws when liying down.
always right over left I think.

Cor bet he was a beauty! Post a pic?
Totally agree re big dogs  Ozzy even likes to sleep on my bed .... (I get the floor :rolleyespink: )

:roflol: Saying that, I think I read somewhere that Mals spread their paws, just like cats do, when they try to grip when running.

I only remember one photo of me with Queenie when I was a little dot, don't have it on my PC though @"M" but when I get a chance, I'll see if I can dig it out from wherever it is and scan it to show you :spinning:

She was a big, gentle girl and very regal looking too, I wonder if that's why my parents named her Queenie? I've never thought of that until I just typed it now :dbgrtmb:

What a good lad Ozzy is:doggieshmooze:...an absolute beauty:wub2:

@pete ..Zoe reminds me so much of my BIL girl:wub2:,almost identical...one of the most wonderful souls there's been..Lassie was a dog that wandered ,she could do then back in the day, they lived where there was little traffic and every one made so much of her..she'd do the rounds to 2 old ladies every morning and they'd give her a saucer of tea it made the old girls day and once she even came home with a tiny pup in her mouth brought it in then off she went again, she did this six times until she had a bed full of babies:rolleyespink:...it turns out that the farmers bitch down the road had lost interest in them so Lassie took over,Lassie had pups of her own so had the milk to feed them...How did she know?...

                            Marvellous creatures:love30:
