funny story haven't laughed so much in ages!!

so mother in law is in hospital(thats not the funny bit) she cracked her pubic bone and is 82 x anyway hubby goes to see her this evening and when he gets there 1 of his brothers is sitting there next to the bed quite upset "mum" is laying on the bed with a breathing mask on, twitching with a very swelled up face and neck(still not the funny bit) anyway hubby says to his brother " whats going on?" brother replies they have given her a hip replacement! so hubby is questioning nurses what the hell has happened we have not been notified! they scurry off get a senior nurse who is worried sick this lady has had a major op and the family have not been notified! so she looks at the notes and says "this isnt phylomena anymore" so the brother in law says " oh are you calling her phylis now?" (thats what we call her) the nurse says " no this is mavis, your mums been moved" then said " and i hope your mum writes you both out of her will for the stress you have put me under" hubby says to brother in law " how long have you been sat there?" he replies " half an hour" then brother in law says to hubby " didnt you notice?" hubby replied " your not pinning this on me you sat there for half an hour i just got here" and then told the nurse his brothers nicname is dopey dan and thats the reason anyway hubby said he was just about to kiss the lady on the head and brother was about to hold her hand! can you imagine if they had and she woke up!

 

oh but mother in law didn't see the funny side of her sons not recognizing her
