The tulips that were 50p have now been reduced to 25p, together with some other (but not all) of their tulips. I got 13 packs/130 bulbs for £3.25. Water can roses, not just the rubber universal ones are now all 10p each (always losing them). Got some more 15x packs of square pots for 10p/pack. Selected Halloween stuff now 75% off.

Arghhh, there are never any square pots on offer in mine! I have a shed full of medium round ones bought for 5p each. Plus my mother neglected to tell me that the half price seeds she bought there a week ago went through the till at 10p!

Ours finished off at the weekend and removed gardening stuff from sale (I asked in case they had seeds round the back). Got a tin of paint for outdoor wood for £1, decking stain for £1, hose accessories for 5p, fish, blood and bone meal for 50p and a grass patch repair kit for 50p.

All bulbs now 50% off (seen in 2 stores) which includes pack of 3 'Casablanca' Garlic bulbs with over 40 cloves (bought a pack) reduced from £2 to £1, so only 2.5p/clove.

          Shovels now only £2.

That explains why, when I got back from a few days away and I checked out my local Wilkos this morning, all that was left was an empty wall display space and a small amount of dust on the bottom shelf!

I checked out 2 Wilkos on the way back from my hols this week, but everything was only 50% off in those stores. 10p for 3 bulbs of garlic is cheaper than buying it from a supermarket, well done @pamsdish

Oh I just love reading what fantastic bargains you have managed to find.:) How many rubber rings have you bought?and are you intending to open a business in direct competition with Rentokil? We normally get about 3 wasps' nests a season so if your p&p are reasonable I'll know where to order my next can of wasp killer foamy stuff.!

I do get quite green re your numerous visits to Wilkos and resultant bargains. I just wish I had a store near me but unfortunately the closest to me is about an hour's drive away. Not a lot of point spending loads on fuels to try and get a bargain. I have got some new whisky barrels and could do with some more Tulip bulbs. I bought a big load from Parkers wholesale but now need about 40 more. Any ideas where I might get a good bargain Scrungee? if you don't then I have no chance of getting cheap ones!!!

I'm afraid that every Wilko store appears to have sold off all their bulbs cheap. Wyevale packets of bulbs are 50% off, but even with that reduction they are still probably 2 - 3 times what Wilkos were charging when full price.

I've got our daughter away at Uni checking out her local Wilkos and stashing bargains away to collect when we next visit. We get about 2 wasp nests a year in locations that need dealing with, like in sheds or amongst crops, so those will keep us going for several years.

....unless you are shopping in Waitrose. I was assured by an eccentric gentleman at the last one I want to that they'd still take off the multi-buy discount from reduced items.

                  My Wilko has nothing left.

                  Wild bird food 10p/Kg!

1Kg bags of wild bird seed mix all reduced to only 10p (reduced from £1). The bags on display are now a different size, so they appear to have been discontinued so this may be in all stores (I'll check online after lunch, edit: now showing unavailable so probably reduced in any store with new sizes), got 12 of them (all they had) and I'm sure our hens will also love it.

900g Songbird special mix (was £1.75) and 900g mealworm muesli (reduced from £2.79!) both also 10p and we got 2 of each (all they had). These we'll give to our elderly neighbours for Xmas together with 2x three packs of suet blocks we got free from Homebase yesterday using vouchers from the Telegraph (sorry, got back home too late to post that one), plus a £1 cage for them that was the only thing we actually went into Wilkos for. Both these products are also now unavailable online.
