      Those blackberries are amazing!!!!

Would love some feed back from fellow crafters i have started making my xmas wreath and dont know to leave it how it is or add more

I can safely say after this i wouldn't recommend crocheting with paper raffia cord.

      Would appreciate some input.

I can appreciate the hard work in crocheting that raffia chord. Personally Dips, I would like to see more "garnish" on the Wreath but that's me,
        somewhat OTT at times,
        Jenny
thanks for your compliment re: the blackberries. Fiddly - but not difficult. Just had to make them once I saw them in the book though.

I can completely understand why you had to make them once you had seen them. After seeing yours i want to make some but im not good with fiddly

I have run out of green raffia so will have to get more to put more on

Debating whether to add a red satin bow at the top or not

Again i would have to buy this

@Jenny namaste - those blackberries look ... EDIBLE!!!!

@Dips I adore your work ... my personal preference would be for the wreath to have some other embellishment. It appears 2 dimensional at the moment and needs (in my opinion) a little bit of glitz (?) Something to make it "pop".

              Thanxs maria and M

Funny you should say to add some glitz. Im adding some gold sparkly thread weaved in all the way round and im making the bow from the red paper raffia cord and the gold thread.

Need to get more raffia tho as i have run out and only have the tip bit of the bow and not the tails

Really not happy with the paint work on this one. Feel something is missing or the colours are not right. Any thoughts?

Christmaswise, I'm a red, green and gold person Jane. I find it hard to bond to other colours,

I agree with Jenny about the colours. May be painting the upper edges of the sides in gold paint may make a difference. Also, how about attaching some tiny bells?

Its the top trim colour white, silver or a pale gold?

Don't know weather that would be better as a strong yellowy gold and maybe glittery.

Hobbycraft only had two boxes of raffia cord so cant make a full poinsettia but i have made a ribbon so here is how the wreath looks now

Gonna be a while till more is added

Nah the closest one is Stourbridge. Normally i get my stuff off amazon cause its cheaper and i dont need to find someone to take me out to get stuff. But amazon has raffia but not the raffia cord im using. So im now stuck with hobbycraft which is a pain.
